Terms of use for the Cyclope software.
Software license
Cyclope is proprietary software distributed free of charge by Privateer SAS. All rights reserved. You are authorised to install and use the application for personal or professional purposes, on as many devices as you wish. Any copying, redistribution, modification of the source code, reverse engineering or commercial exploitation is prohibited without prior written agreement. This licence is governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Paris courts.
Business model
Cyclope is free and will remain so. Privateer SAS collects no user data and derives no revenue from the application. Privateer's business model is based on operational security consulting services for businesses.
Third-party licenses
Cyclope incorporates Google ML Kit Face Detection (bundled, 16.1.7) distributed by Google LLC under its own licence. This component runs entirely on-device, with no network connection. The full list of third-party libraries is available in the application source code.
